Thomas Aske is the founder and CEO of Blank Canvas Collective, a consultancy specialising in beverage brand development and hospitality optimisation. With over 20 years of experience in the drinks and hospitality industries, Thomas is the co-owner of the award-winning Black Rock whisky bar and recently exited Whisky Me, the UK’s largest whisky subscription club, following its successful acquisition by Glenkeir Whiskies LTD.

Throughout his career, Thomas has co-founded and managed several critically acclaimed ventures, including Purl, The Worship Street Whistling Shop, and Surfside Polzeath. These innovative concepts earned widespread recognition and contributed to his reputation as a creative leader in the hospitality sector.

Thomas’s work has taken him across the globe, consulting for clients in markets such as Thailand, China, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, and Dubai. As the former director of Fluid Movement, he delivered strategic insights and operational solutions for major hospitality operators, including Marriott Hotels, Diageo, LVMH, and Hilton. He has conducted seminars on beverage innovation, operational excellence, and brand advocacy for some of the world's leading organisations.

His work has been featured in publications such as Spirits Business and Diageo Bar Academy, and he has authored chapters on cocktail innovation for GQ's Cocktail Book.
